Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) is hosting their annual scholarship competition, offering a $35,000 grand prize. Entries consist of a 3-5 minute audio essay responding to the prompt, “How are you showing patriotism and support for our country?” and will be judged based on originality, content and delivery. All high school students in the United States can enter by the October 31 deadline. Entries must be submitted in person at a VFW Post, which can be found at vfw.org/FindaPost.
