This year, miniplay invites students in 3rd-12th grade to participate in a short play writing contest, with the theme of MAGIC IS EVERYWHERE. 1st-3rd prize winners will receive a staged reading of their play by local actors at the premier party. Additionally, grand prize winners of each category will get a $50 cash reward.
*For safety reasons, the live reading may be held virtually.
All Submission are due by March 26th; the guidelines are as follows:
Include name, age, school, teacher, grade level and email/phone number on the first pages
Be 1-10 pages in length
Have no more than 6 characters in the play
Make no use of guns or violence onstage
