Buskirk-Chumley putting on production of Elf the Musical

Taking the line “the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear” to heart, the Buskirk-Chumley is putting on a production of Elf the Musical from Dec. 15-31. To ring in the holiday spirit, South freshmen will be going to see the musical on Thursday, Dec. 15, just before break.

As a fan of the movie, freshman Alexa Aparicio is eager to see the show. “I know in Bloomington there’s a lot of talented actors and actresses, especially when it comes to musicals, so I’m excited to see how they adapt it their own way.”

For anyone else interested in traveling through the seven levels of the Candy Cane forest, tickets can be purchased here. Prices begin at $35 for adults, $23 for students, and $20 for children.
