South Gets Immunized

In the United States, certain immunizations and boosters are required to attend most public schools. South is hosting a vaccine clinic for juniors and seniors over the age of 16 who need/want these immunizations. Papers that were sent home with juniors and seniors must be filled out by tomorrow March 10th in order for students to receive the vaccinations. This clinic will be held on March 28.

The required vaccines for people entering 12th grade, Hepatitis A and Meningitis, are two of the vaccines that will be offered at this clinic. It will also offer the HPV and Meningitis B vaccines. If a family has insurance coverage, then the vaccines will be charged through their company, but if a student does not have insurance coverage then the Monroe County Health Department will provide the vaccines free of charge.
