Truman Daleke, Gabrielle Wonder, and Toby Thomassen to speak at graduation

As summer approaches, graduation is just around the corner. Commemorating the end of many students’ high school careers, seniors Truman Daleke, Gabrielle Wonder, and Toby Thomassen have been selected to speak as a final goodbye to their fellow seniors. The three speakers were chosen in a selective process in which they had to apply by sending in a short preview to their 5-minute long speech, and finally got selected by administration.

Speech teacher Catharine Rademacher gave advice to the speakers: “A well-rounded speech should be relatable and include everybody. You all have different experiences throughout high school, but to make a good speech, the audience needs to believe you are being genuine.”

If you wish to see the Class of 2023’s final send-off, come support them at graduation, which will be held May 27th in the Purple Gym at 2 p.m. Seven tickets are issued to each senior and a livestream of graduation will be offered in the library for those without tickets.
