  • BHSS 2026 graduation is at 10 a.m. May 30 in the Purple Gym
  • Healthapaloza is April 23 at BHSS-families can receive free bike helmets and gun locks

South girls’ cross country has record-breaking season

South junior Lexi Kolbaum was the 2nd finisher for the panthers, with seniors Jasmine Martoglio first and Aurelia Martoglio third.

The Panther girls’ cross country team had an incredible season this fall, 2025. The team won sectionals and regionals, and ended the season with a third place finish at state, which is the highest the team has ever placed at state.

Leading the team was sophomore Lexi Kolbaum who won the state championship with a course record of 17:32.7. Kolbaum also won regionals, and Jasmine and Aurelia Martoglio weren’t far behind, as they both placed in the top four.
