For any seniors looking to speak at graduation, the deadline is this Friday and you can sign up to audition in the office or room A111.
Tryouts will be held in Carmichael Hall during SRT on Monday, April 11. Participants must sign up to be eligible to try out,. Those trying out will each have two minutes to give a small portion of their speech to the senior class. The top three speakers will then be chosen to speak at graduation.
Speeches should be school appropriate, not overly critical or negative toward any people or the school, positive and uplifting. Also, “try to keep experiences general,” Catherine Rademacher said, “so that everyone can relate to what you are saying.”
