On Friday night, September 9th, South beat North in their annual cross-town rivalry game 49-0. The Panthers dominated in every aspect of the game. Rock solid Defense and fast paced Offense helped South beat the Cougars for the fourth year in a row. An interception from Tarell Perine on the first play set the tone for the rest of the game for South. The first half was close which saw the Panthers only leading 14-0 at halftime. In the second half however, the Panthers came out firing scoring touchdown after touchdown eventually leading to the 49-0 rout. Kristian Pechac’s 90 yard touchdown run was arguably the highlight of the game in what was another impressive win for South. Catch the Panthers back in action on the road against Southport this Friday.
