College fair

Colleges and other academic institutions from Indiana and Ohio came to South on Monday morning to participate in a college fair. Juniors and seniors were invited to visit and talk with representatives in order to learn more about these educational opportunities.

In addition to the two and four-year colleges and universities, military divisions such as the Army, Navy, and Air Force sent representatives to the college fair. Paul Mitchell the School Indianapolis, an academy for cosmetology, also had a spokesperson.

The representative from Franklin College, a four-year liberal arts institution in Franklin Indiana, said that “hopefully [students] will get some introductory information and see if this college might be a good fit.” She added that prospective students would need to visit the campus to be sure of whether the college they are thinking about would be a good fit before committing.
