TEDx Youth event

This Saturday, November 19 from 1-3 pm, Solarium Productions will be hosting a free TEDx Youth event in the MCPL library auditorium.

This event is a part of a nation-wide TEDx program. Young people will be presenting their Ted talks on various topics which will be recorded and available to to the public.

Solarium’s event will include four live speakers, as well as a viewing of other Ted talks from the day.

South students Isabelle Neal, Joseph Ermey and Isaac Young will be speaking on Solarium, the production “Glass Menagerie” and Prism youth group. Zoe Reed, a Bloomington High School North senior will be giving a talk on the Black Lives Matter movement.

The event will be informational, entertaining and a good way to understand things happening in the youth community in Bloomington as well as around the globe.

Rumor has it that free cookies will be offered after the talks!
