Optimist recently asked Sophomore Point Guard Addy Blackwell about the Lady Panther’s 2016-2017 Basketball Season.
Q: Who are you?
A: My name is Addy Blackwell, and I’m a Sophomore.
Q: What position do you play?
A: I play Point Guard
Q: What is your goal overall as a team?
A: Our main goal is to win sectionals. We know it will be a challenge due to the fact that the number one team (Columbus North) is in our division.
Q: How is the season going?
A: The season is going okay. We started out good winning games, but recently our shooting hasn’t been great and unfortunately we’ve lost some close games we probably should have won.
Q: What is your favorite part about the team/season?
A: My favorite part is definitely the girls. We do everything together on and off the court and are always together as a team 24/7.
