In an effort to solve the bus driver shortage that’s been plaguing MCCSC schools for years, the board voted on Feb. 28 to hire Auxilio, a large corporation based in Michigan, that runs bus routes in other states. Regardless of community complaints at the aspect of outsourcing jobs, the board is carrying out the decision next year. MCCSC drivers will have the opportunity to bid for their existing routes.
