This past Saturday, the Bloomington South Boys Lacrosse team celebrated their senior night in historic fashion. The South Lacrosse team beat Bishop Luers, located in Fort Wayne, to earn their fourth win of the season.
The final score, 21-10, was the second highest amount of goals scored in program history. Junior Captain Jack Hanchett had a standout performance, with 4 goals and a career high 5 assists on the night.
Hanchett spoke out on the team’s victory, saying “We had a game that really tested our teams resolve. We started out rough and were actually losing, but in the third and fourth quarters we started winning face offs and were successful in the end. I’m obviously very proud of my guys, it was great for our seniors to get a victory.”
