Twenty one years, that’s how long it’s been since the Lady Panthers volleyball team hosted the Sectional Championship. They hope to break the streak this year with an experienced senior core and a group of talented underclassmen. Seniors Sydney Conger and Grace Bland will join forces with several juniors, sophomores, and even freshman to fill out the starting lineup.
Freshman Bailey DeMier has earned the start at setter and said,“I’m excited to be part of Bloomington South volleyball. The team has been practicing hard and we are looking forward to a lot of great wins this season.”
The Lady Panthers kickoff their season at home against rival Edgewood on Tuesday, August 15th at 6 p.m.
