International talk like a pirate day

Today is International Talk Like a Pirate Day. To celebrate, we asked students what their go to pirate phrases and jokes were. Here’s what they had to say:

“Argh, shiver me timbers!” junior Lia Sokol.

“Squawk squawk,” junior Tiffany Luong.

“How do pirates know they’re pirates? They think therefore they arrr,” junior Jordan Monson.

“What has eight arms, eight eyes, and eight legs? Eight pirates,” junior Nicole Brown.

“Why does it take so long for pirates to learn the alphabet? Because they can spend years at sea,” junior Elizabeth Trueblood.

Have fun using your best pirate material!
