Spanish students at South have the opportunity to travel to Spain and Italy this June with Spanish teacher Lindsee Hawkins. The trip will start in Spain, with students visiting Barcelona and Madrid, and will continue on the other side of the Mediterranean where students will get to see Rome and Florence. Some activities that students can expect to take part in during the trip include cooking in a Spanish kitchen and fighting at a gladiator school in Rome.
Hawkins said the trip will last 10 days and that there will be fundraising opportunities and financial aid available to students. Students must sign up by September 18th with Hawkins in room, A106.
