Marijuana blazes up election night

California, Massachusetts, and Nevada voted Tuesday to legalize recreational marijuana. These states join Colorado and Washington on the growing list of states that have gone against the National United State’s classification of marijuana as a Schedule I drug. Additionally, voters in Florida, North Dakota and Arkansas voted to legalize marijuana for medical use. Although Barack Obama has left states to decide the issue themselves, president elect Donald Trump’s position on the issue of drug reform is an enigma.
