The 2017 Monroe County Lilly Scholarship finalists have been selected and three are South students. The Lilly Scholarship is awarded to two Monroe County Seniors for full tuition to any Indiana public or private school, as well as an additional $900 for any textbooks or supplies the student may need. This year from South: Betsy Beggs, Ivy Kehoe, and Hannah Kasak-Gliboff were three of the 11 finalist. Monroe County’s 2017 two Lilly Endowment Scholarship winners will be announced in early December.
